Hey beautiful people!
My name is Byrdie McCoy. I am a proud mother to two crazy ass kids that I love most in this world. I am a fun-loving free spirit, who is passionate about bringing people together. You can always find me laughing and motivating others or talking about the power of manifestation (my fave).
I started this blog to inspire womxn to just get out there and get moving! I understand there is no “One-Size-Fits-All” approach to Fitness, so I want to share my experiences in the hopes it motivates someone to find out what fits for them! I am on a journey to achieving a WHOLE-listsic lifestyle and am grateful for this second chance.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with PTSD after a horrific accident left me in critical condition. This was a really dark time in my life and I dealt with a lot of the shame of this disorder silently and alone. It took me years to get out of this tunnel and I believe it was FITNESS, NUTRITION & COMMUNITY that helped me survive these times. In 2016 I began running free fit camps for womxn dealing with trauma, depression and other mental health issues. I wanted to create a safe space for us to feel good in our bodies and out of our heads. These camps were about building community and now they have transformed into this incredible platform that brings us together in so many other ways!
Through my camps, events and coaching I am hoping to shatter the stigmas around mental health and empower womxn to take control of their health. We are all in this together. Let’s honor our bodies, be kind to ourselves and love on one another.
